New MOTU Audio Interface causing Live8 Issues

Just hooked up MOTU Track 16. Followed the instructions to a T. When I load up Ableton I get nothing but issues:

1. Midi keyboard does not work
2. no Sound
3. Play does not work
4. VERY SLOW

When I switch back to my regular sound card everything goes back to normal...Once again, Im lost for answers and the MOTU support does not open until Monday morning at 9am. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.! Thanks

I use Ableton 8. AKAI MPK49, Access VIRUS TI, on PC with Windows 7 with Processor: AMD HDT35TWFGRBOX Phenom II X6 1035T Processor - Six Core, 8gb RAM

No idea what the interface is but have you gotten the latest drivers from the MOTU site?
