If I have a clip in arrangement and try dragging a longer clip from the browser over the shorter clip, the longer clip is cut short and both are shown. I would expect that the shorter clip would be removed completely.

Hi,
Does this happen with every file?. I dragged 10 to 20 files on top of each other in arranger wihtout being able to reproduce this. OSX.
Please send in the 2 files shown in the set and note what computer you are using. to beta@ableton.com

I actually wrote support and received this message back this morning:
"After some further investigation we were able to reproduce this and filed it as a bug for now."
It happens every time for me. I have autowarping disabled. This happens when dragging a file from the browser directly to the arrange page. Not with two files already in the project.

oh, glad to see that it's a bug. I thought it was just a strange (and annoying) implementation.
