Key Command problem with 5.0.1

Post by solovox » Fri Jul 29, 2005 2:17 am

When assigning a key command to the RUN feature of Groove Agent, half the time it does not start the VSTI.

Only when you open the GUI of Groove Agent will the key command actually work. This is a bug...since it's worked for a year with Live 4.

Nope...just tried it again. The keyboard-control icon is OFF. I called up my template, which has Groove Agent ready to go, with "R" starting the pattern.

Nothing happens...until I open the actual GUI for Groove Agent...then suddenly it starts playing. Abletons: this is definitely a bug unless someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong...

Hi solovox,

so it did work like you expect in a previous version of Live?
How or where do you assign 'R' to the "Run feature" of Groove Agent?

regards,
Alex

Ok, I see what you mean. I tried it with the Demo of Groove Agent and could reproduce it.

It also does not work like in Live 5 when you switch the "Run parameter" via the generic interface. So it is not directly related to the Key-Command.

I put in on the list. Cannot yet say how this will be fixed.

regards,
Alex
