dumb question about muting a track

hi everyone ok so the dumb question about muting a track:
how do you do it?? ive not found it in the manual...im working in arrangement view and i dont see a way to mute tracks

Click on the track number.

thanks again man...when i click that it highlights it, and maybe im crazy but i dont think that muted it...i will try again tho
