Where are orchestral brass's 35 presets in live 9?

Post by axem » Tue May 28, 2013 5:38 am

I own Suite9 for the Mac

Today I wanted to use the orchestral brass. I opened the pack and I only found 2 folders samples and sounds. No example .als, no presets.

Ableton says there are 35 presets. I looked for them far and wide and (maybe I am silly) I could not find them.

So how does one use these orchestral sounds and where are the 35 presets located?

I assume the woodwinds strings and mallets will work the same.

Thanks for your help.

Have you downloaded and installed the pack?

https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/orchestral-brass/

Might seem silly, but it fooled me when I upgraded from Live to Suite. I had to download all of the packs that I wanted individually from the Abes website(and I thought they would have been installed along with my Suite upgrade installation, but alas they were not!).

Also, this thread seems way too serious for the Lounge, just sayin'.

Hi Brock,

Thanks for your answer.
Yes indeed I have re-installed the pack and all presets show in the browser in folder sounds.
