I have problems with recording clip automations:
for example if i want to keep the setting of a twisted parameter (filter cutoff) with the clip i would have to change the value of the filter cut off again in order to let ableton recognize which parameter to record in clip automation.
the problem is that i must change the value which results in a little jump , which i dont like.
also it would be great to have something like a "parameter dump" in clip automations!
i have tried to work on a solution with m4l but with no succes yet.
the problem is basicly that for ableton it is not enough to send the same value again to be recognizes by the live object but rather it has to be changed!! at least that were my observations.
are there other workarounds people use, have similar problems or have solutions for doing it with max?
i would be interested!!
