CPU Usage Meter

Post by aminoplacid » Thu May 30, 2013 7:01 am

I hope this has not come up already in one permutation or another. The CPU meter is great but does not give any indication as to what is consuming the most resources in the Ableton process scope. It would be great if there were a way to visualize what tracks/instruments/effects/devices/etc. are consuming the most percentage of CPU/Memory in the process space so as to assist in deciding where to focus energy in resource preservation. Please skool me if I am missing something. Thanks and regards!

Here's some more info on the "CPU meter" in Live from the developers. Hint, it doesn't work like you think:
