meanwhile i have one lax knob on my apc. sometimes i seperate it from the device and hold it in my hand.
what should i do, to fix this? i dont want use emplastic, is there another trick?

no metaphorical. let me make this clear: its a HW-problem.
most of knobs are really stucked. i can wild move, but they keep of their threads.
but one knob sits so loose, lax... thats what i mean.

Is it the knob cap or the entire knob? I used to always lose the knob caps (the black tops) until I decided to super glue them in place.. Some of the knobs are easier to detach than others but it shouldn't come off THAT easily, try switching it to another spot and see if it still pops off like that.
