I think control center looks like crap, or at least not something that is eye catching and elegant like apple usually makes. That looks like something that is a beta functionality test.

They should've made it cover the whole screen. Never cover up half a screen without drop shadows to indicate limits. Why did they do away with the drop shadows anyway? Ive was all about contextual layers in the OS, but sans the 2% overlapping transparency there's no way of telling the layers apart.

this OS looks like it has got the ghey.
