Oh yeah, they're bound to be really fantastic "career building" tracks aren't they - if they're prepared to let someone else profit from them!

Can't be any good anyway, they haven't got any Drum & Bass.

Well this part is half true-
What used to be available only for the top DJ is now open to all artists
Although I doubt it's going to be of the same quality as when *big name of the day* gets someone to write and produce their album.

From the site's FAQ:
You can pay using 100 different payment options.
That's cutting edge stuff. I wonder if they will allow payment by Bitcoin? Or even more baller would be barter.

This is nothing new, in literary circles it's called ghostwriting.
Maybe this is a vision of the future of EDM ...ghost producing!
Well,at least you get more of a social life this way!

my first thought was is it april 1 or maybe the onion

then I could just see the tragic desperation in the producers who came up with that as a way of trying to actually earn a living from their music: "if I can't get paid by labels to release my tunes, then maybe I can con some talentless twats into buying them instead"

Of course, once you have "your" track, you'll need to pay some names to review it.

It's nothing new in music either, particularly in film scoring. Hans Zimmer has a whole team of people working for him, some of them unpaid intern lackeys.
