Post by blj » Wed Jun 19, 2013 12:58 pm

Hi Forum

I would like to the result to be a fade out in say 5 sek.

Is this possible ?

No reaction ;-(
Maybe im not clear enough.

I use LIVE in Session mode live on stage and want to change from one audio file to another without the abrupt stop wich happens when i press stop clip...

Can i somehow make a setting to make a fade out / fade in or rather a Crossfade from one file to the other when i change from one audio file to the other.

Yours
Bo

Put the two clips in different tracks, then duplicate the file you want to fade out. Put the duplicate and the second file in the same scene. Now, the fade out clip, set it to legato. This way it will start playing from the point where the audio is playing in the original (you might want to change clip quantization to 'none', or not,if the change of tracks is sync'ed).
Then go to the clip volume envelope, unlink it, and draw your fade. If you now fire the second scene, the second clip starts playing, and the first starts fading...
