Live (session) Clip Automation. Volume/mute/FX even?

I mean on the spot. Being able to draw automation over the clip picture (while ur jamming live) to control volume. Kinda like the Pro Tools Pluggin PITCH N TIME. this would let u mute sections, add volume curves, and better yet record FX movements in real time and have them play back hands free. i think MPC can do this too. actually arranger can do it but we need to be able to do it live. please!!!!!!!!
