Foot controller - Overdub/launch next loop?

hey, does anyone have a good grasp of Max for Live?

I'm trying to construct a boolean type argument where pressing a button a number of times results in different functions. In my case, I'm want to activate the overdub function in my looper and launch the next drum loop in Ableton, but I want the launch button to be activated after I press multiple times. tips greatly appreciated!
