the 7th commandment which is often translated as "thou shalt not kill" doesn't mean anything of the sort. It would be better translated as "thou shalt not kill another Jew unless you have a good reason."
Well, everyone knows (at least here) that the so-called "ten commandments" (those some billions dumb jesus fans pretend to respect and follow) are actually a late italian interpretation of some primitive and rude laws (more than 10, actually... I guess 20-30) of an ancient israelitic clan. The "10 commandments" copyrighted by the Church Corp. were invented in 800 AD. Nowadays they have become "poetic", a sort of "peace and love" agenda

But they were intended as taboo rules for an ancient clan in which women were raped, people killed, animals and children sacrified, etc.
There is nothing "poetic" in the bible, actually. It's a sort of horror gore story, although badly written, good for ignorant people: the more ignorant, the more scared. The more scared, the more obedient. The more obedient, the more slaves. The more slavish, the more hunger and grief. The more hunger and grief, the more power to the church and the lords of war. It works like this in the west, since about 1700 years. Guess why the Church corporation has always been afraid of science, medicine, technology, etc.

The real pain in the neck for the church was the french revolution, illuminism and industrial revolution. They said "fuck, we are fucked now!". that is why the Church is very friendly with dictatorships (expecially fascists and capitalistic ones) and lords of war. Oh, and banks, too
