Is the play page/harmonic grid in Livecontrol 2 similar to the chord and melody playing functionality in Push?

Without actually owning a Push (so take this with a pinch of salt!) from what I've seen on the demo videos the interfaces look similar. I'm sure those lucky enough to have a Push will be able to say how they differ, however.

Push uses 4ths/2nds offset, which is available in LC2, too.
However not all scales available in Push can be chosen in LC2. LC2 is limited to the most common.

Hi,

Okay having a few issues: Sequencer, velocity, the wrong track showing next the effects selected etc.

I can't find any general instructions or videos other than the 'how to connect' ones on the Lemur / Liine site.

Anyone know where I can go for help/intructions.

Cheers

Okay, it's stupid question time!

Anybody running LiveControl2 (or other Lemur templates) on the latest iPad with retina display? Does it fit nicely? Have decided to pick-up and iPad but after spending the weekend using templates on my iPhone I want to be sure at least LiveControl 2 fits right on the retina resolution.

Thanx!

I ran my MacBook and iPad through the router the other night, so I could still browse while testing a few things, major beach balls and live locking up. So not sure what was happening there, but it didn't crash live and once I went back to the adhoc all was good.

When in keyboard/pad mode is there anyway to change the midi channel, one of my outboard synths run on channel 9 keyboard mode only allows (3,4,5,6) I think that's right and I couldn't figure out how to change it.

Thank for the advice :)

All up and running and pretty awesome :)

I can't seem to get the sequencer to work though which is a drag, and can't find how to access the velocity.

Also the focus doesn't seem to work. i.e. if I select a track in Lemur Live doesn't focus / move to that track.

Probably all driver error :?
Press shift and the clip you want to edit, and it will bring up the sequencer. Then you can sequence, works like a dream with battery 4

Anyone care to do a Touchable vs LC2 comparison? I already own Touchable, is the $50 for Lemur + LC2 worthwhile even for Touchable owners?

At the moment, a comparison between TouchAble and LC2 wouldn't show the 'real' differences between the two templates. Firstly, TouchAble has had some of its functionality broken in the update to Ableton 9 (like the native EQ8 template for example), and secondly, the TouchAble developers are in the middle of coding TouchAble 2 which has a load of extra features promised (and I believe is coming as an update for current owners). Once TouchAble 2 is released, a more reliable comparison will be possible. The only problem is that no-one knows when TouchAble 2 is going to be released at the present time.
