Anyone know of documentaries about the history of the bible

Just study old pre-greek mythology, the cult of mithra and cultural anthropology. I vaguely remember hearing something like that in the "documentary" Zietgiest, I didn't watch the whole movie though because it came off as shit some one made for a school project.
I never have studied greek mythology, I have studied greek philosophy. I will look into the history of the cult of mithra though.

I've seen 1 and 2. They were both shit. Never bothered with the 3rd. It's basically fascist propaganda.

In this case you did not "study" greek philosophy, you just learnt it (like everyone, I guess). Once you studied it, you have obviously to study pre-thales school (so called "pre-socratics") and enter into greek mythology and asian/middle east influences on western culture.
