Live will NOT uninstall totally

PC windows 7 Live 8

My VST will not show up. I have had to re-install 3 times. The .dll's are not showing up. I have searched everywhere for an answer. Nothing I do works. No ideas from the internet work. I can uninstall and re-install how ever many times I want. They will not show up. They are mapped to the Steinberg folder. No good. I created folders in all sorts of folders and mapped to them. No luck.

Nothing I do works. After reformatting several time the folder in the C: mapping to the 'data app' folder I can not see. But even after formatting when I go to install Live it shows the folder is in the C: as to be expected. But when I search I can see the location. When I try to go there I can't find it.

Please help. I don't want to shoot my computer in the face. Thx

Sorted. I am using both 64 and 32 bit VST's. I installed both versions to different folders and all works well.
