@Funk N. Furter

A lie told often enough does NOT become the truth.

That is all.

And how do you propose to do that?
Actually, I take that back, the first step is to make people care. We do live in a democracy. There's corruption because we let the fuckers get away with it.

The last couple of weeks in parliament has been full of arguments on party funding, lobbiests, MPs sitting on boards of directors, etc. Cameron's up to his balls in sleaze with Lynton Crosby, and at last, Milliband is giving him hell over something.

But nothing will come of it all, unless people start demanding better. The public could make this the issue that wins the next election. Sadly though, the "left" have all given up. Everyones is now convinced the system is so broken, they'll just let the arseholes walk all over us, instead of pushing for any gain we could get.

What 'lie' is that then?
A lie, not THE lie.

2. Get challenged
3. Misunderstand everything
4. Proclaim yourself debate champion
5. Rinse, repeat

Lol...thank you very much! I think I will keep this one for a while, and I really have to make an effort to waste more time posting here like some of you lot! :wink:

Actually, this may be difficult because I have made a big mistake! Apart from being a little drunk (o.k. make that a lot), I am suffering under the influence of a rather wonderful woman I had the pleasure to meet last week. We met courtesy of friends who were playing with a well known music identity (can't say who for obvious reasons) and we hit it off...as in, there was warm conversation and a kiss and hug at the end of the gig. She is totally hot, used to be a model and now is said music identity's partner and manager.

I hate it when this stuff happens. He is a cool guy and they are in a good relationship which means that there is no way that what I feel now will mean anything...except that she sees it and is very nice about it. This is going to cost me a bit in a few good quality bottles of wine over the next week or so I think. But hey, what can you do? Shit happens and you deal with it and move on.

And...it is so nice to be able to say all this anonymously to kind hearted folk (hahaha) who won't be able to pass on this confession to any relevant people. And...it is great to be able to derail this boring thread with some human emotion!!!!!!

@H20nly...I bet you weren't expecting THIS as a reponse. :lol:
