Push killing powered hub

Post by StewD » Sun Jul 28, 2013 1:17 am

Having a strange issue here, quick search didn't find anything relevant ...

When I shut down Push, either before or after quitting Live, it 'kills' everything else on the powered USB hub it's connected to. In other words, the mouse and keyboard (and secondary audio interface) that are connected to the same USB hub as Push stop working when Push is turned off.

I have to disconnect the hub from my MacBook or cycle the power to get it to respond again.

Anyone seen anything like this?

Used a D-link dub-h7 hub on macbook pro with 2x dongles no probs and currently using it on a win 7 machine with mouse and keyboard without issue with push. Could be your hub?

ok, so you're saying my p-o-s generic powered hub is likely the problem?

probably.

i'm using a couple of those 7-port Cables Unlimited Multi-TT hubs, and i haven't had any issues with Push.
