How did the Colorado Shooter get his own show so quickly? I didn't even realize the trial had ended...

The first iPad came out in 2010. Then came Android tablets and then Windows. Many people don’t need anything more than a tablet and I know several people who replaced their laptop or desktop with a tablet and that’s all they have now. So yeah, plugging a computer into a TV with a cable is back in the day and no longer an option for some people.

Funny Reading this in 2020 after the demise of Apple TV, currently typing from a windows laptop that is way more capable than any Mac, nothing has ever changed in that sense.

I wouldn't call 13M units last year exactly 'demise', but whatever floats your boat...
On a personal level it's probably the best tech investment I've ever made. Bought mine in 2010, never needed another. Still runs my streams and Netflix 'app' without breaking a sweat.
Superb device!
