These days I'm spending times on practicing mixing&mastering.
I usually make Electro things...(House techno etc.)
However, I find out that my sound has no wideness, I feel the sound is just gathered in the middle.(Especially the synth Bass)
At first I thought it's the problem of my synthesizing techinque, but now I think that's not 100% the reason....
Is there anybody who went through this problem?
How can I make it more Wider?
Wideness of sound
Re: Wideness of sound
A sound sounds wide in stereo if the left and right side are not the same. Two techniques that help a lot for widening a sound involve delaying one side slightly (2-10ms should be enough, different delay times in that range will give a different stereo feel to the sound) and having different frequency curves (EQ) on each side.
Also, don't make all elements in your mix the same width. If they are all "wide" then your mix will not have any depth. Contrast between sounds is key.

Agreed, one of the biggest issues I fix in mastering here is people making things so wide there's nothing in the middle. Sometimes just making one or two parts wider in the mix can be all the track needs.

I've run into the same issue in the past, and the simple answer has already been stated. Don't widen your track too much, but just some key elements. Synth lead, bass, etc. Not drums.
Also, EQ carving fixes a lot of that mudiness you're talking about. For instance, with your bass and kick all in the sub 100 frequency, low cut that from all of your other elements (synths, vocals, etc) and make sure your kick and bass aren't in the same frequency range.
