How is this Desktop for my home studio??

Thx for this! helps me a lot on my new studio pc build.
I have Corsair Vengeance Low Profile Blue DDR3 PC12800/1600MHz CL9 4x4GB I dont think they are ecc. can I use them or do i need to buy other ones?

That's the problem. They don't "handle all software". They don't handle all hardware either. Or rather, some soft/hardware does not work with AMD.

If you want to avoid compatibility issues then buy Intel.

They do and handle all hardware unless you are living with knowledge back in the pre socket A days. I'm running Phenoms 940, 945, and a 955BE and they all run audio just fine.

If you can spare the extra cash, upgrade from Samsung 830 to 840 PRO, the performance of the 840 Pro drive is monumental and still considered top 3 drives across all reviews, benchmarks, and reliability.

I should have clarified. ECC ram should be used for MASSIVE projects such as 50 tracks, 250 voices (Sampling), and syncing it with 2K video, etc.

If you are doing generic electronic music, most 8 GB ram Mfr sticks will work, also the Carsair Ram is good ram, but also consider Kingston LOVO ram if possible as Kingston brand RAM has the lowest temp/cooling to performance ratio and RAM can get VERY VERY hot if you do lots of sampling.

You will need a normal hard drive in case you need more storage space. But you can get by with the SSD by now.

Why the liquid cooling? Do you plan to overcloack? If not, no point getting it.

Why that case? Check around for more slient cases, Antec P180 is highly regarded as a very silent or the Antec Sonata which also comes with a very slient PSU, also some of Lian Li small cases.

Antec makes some nice quiet cases, but its important to remember that COOLING > QUIET PC. The Cosair liquid cooling is the most effective acoustical treatment solution compared to fans. Also, ventilation is very important. You can install 2-6mm acoustic padding inside the case for less fan Db. 80+Gold rated PSU are more effective than less noisy than standard PSUs.

That liquid cooling for CPU also uses a FAN. And is the same size that the stock fan for the cpu cooler. There is no point in that if you are not overclocking anyway. If you overclock, yes that is the most silent solution.
