"Start a new song using Push” Dialog?

"Launch Live 9 with Push attached, and Live asks whether you want to start with a "new song using Push”, a template geared towards getting started with the controller as quickly as possible."

Just got my PUSH a couple days ago, and I have never seen this dialog pop up.

When I open LIVE I just get dumped to the standard default template of a couple midi tracks and a couple audio tracks, I am never asked about starting a set with push at all.


Why is this? Where is this push template?


I am using Ableton Live 9 Intro. (9.0.5 or whatever the newest is)

In the 30 days leading up to this point I was using the trial of Live Suite, without a PUSH.


Anyone else not getting this "Start a new song using Push” Dialog?

Anyone know how to make it come up?

As a side note, I also have an APC40 hooked up, is LIVE just seeing that and then deciding to not show me the Dialog for the PUSH perhaps?

I think this changed with the 9.04 update. Read it in the manual but have never seen this dialog.

Not seeing any reference to it in the LIVE change logs for the last few versions, odd.

I have yet to see this and to be honest I don't miss it. I do believe as irrelevance said they dropped it in one of the earlier updates. Your push is fine
