Try out Native Instruments' Absynth 5. It has THE most flexibel and insanely modulatable envelopes i've ever seen and experienced in any plugin. Each envelope can have up to 68 user-definable breakpoints, has an integrated lfo with independent depth and rate PER breakpoint, each breakpoint can be modulated via various sources. Each breakpoint can have a curved or stepped shape.
The amount of envelopes is only restricted by your computer specs.
The great thing is that Absynth can be used as an amazing FX processor as well. The envelopes can be triggered by sending midi from another midi track to the track where you placed Absynth FX.
Or you can just have them triggered by incoming audio.
Check it out by all means, but get ready to dive in deeeeeep.....

Absynth is one of those plugins that never ceases to amaze me every time i use it.
Diving in as deep as you can is very very rewarding.

As I fiddle with the Envelope Follower, I'm finding that it's not possible to record the automation of the parameter being modulated? Is that correct?
