How to Lock Push to Different Devices?

Post by aputy » Sun Sep 01, 2013 3:17 pm

Hi All,

Not sure if the subject explains it properly. Here is what I want to do. I have my song...however many tracks and devices. I want to use push to control device parameters across multiple tracks Example, Rotary 1 controls filter cutoff on track 1...rotary 2 controls volume of something on track 2, rotary 3 is filter 1 freq on track 3 etc etc. I think you get the idea. Just not sure how to do it. I figure it must be device rack and then use macros but not sure beyond that (or if that is even the right/simplest approach. TIA everyone.

If you press the USER button, Push will switch to user mode. There you can MIDI-map every pad and knob to whatever you want. I guess this is the best solution for what you want.

Be aware that user mode is currently not supported and there are bugs you might run into. In that case, call the support line and ask them to get you somebody from technical department on the phone. They were very helpful and had workarounds for some of the bugs that just had not been implemented in the official release by now.
