Important! Video Problem! PC users help!

My students with PCs can't drag video into ableton - how do you install the video codecs needed?
And where do we find them?
Help would be much appreciated!

Tell them to install Quicktime Player.

Live relies on that for ipmorting VBR (varialble bit rate) compressed audio as well.

Quicktime is installed, still not working :(

AFAIK Live only works with MOV files.

If you are using the 64-bit version, read this: https://www.ableton.com/en/articles/liv ... -playback/

Also note that video playback works only in Arrangement mode.
