Changing Impulse Key range?

Post by besnard » Wed Aug 03, 2005 10:56 pm

Anyway to change impulse's key range down to C1-C3? Just wandering b/c I am trying to sync up with a MD for some drumwork. If not, anybody using any workarounds?

Thanks

I know I can always record then transpose, but I would like to be able to hit it in one shot.

...some day in the future there might be a range switch in Impulse. For now you can place a MIDI "Pitch" Device before it and set it to 24. This will transpose incomming notes from C1... to C3...

Use the Pitch midi effect and set it on +24

How about using a transpose plugin? That usually works for me ;) If you want to transpose the input notes to impulse down 2 octaves, I think you need to go up two octaves on the Transpose.

Thanks alot guys. I am just discovering the power of live. I have owned it since version 3, but am no just getting into it (ver. 5). Logic is getting old if you know what I mean. Time for a change of pace. :-)
