really important to me:

-browse/ Load Audio Files into clip slots (the most basic thing "Live" is all about)
-Load/ save projects (I love this feature of maschine)
-copy/ paste clips
-clips visible in group tracks
-more pages for clip editing (reverse, warp mode etc)

cheers

Its very easy to mute a drum rack pad (mute +pad). But if you use this live, or record it, it sounds rubbish, since you are often cutting off the beginning or end of a drum sound. The mute drum midi notes feature (select, pad, mute) is very nice to mute a drum sound without unpleasant cuts, but in practise the finger combination is hard to use live, and you can't mute more than one pad's notes at a time.

In my humble opinion it would be much more useful to have this the other way round, so mute + pad muted the notes played on that pad, and (select, pad, mute) muted a pad's audio. It would be alot easier to jam live with drums.

Is it easy to make a python script to do this?

Requested: a method to calibrate the dead-center of the touch strip. The actual neutral center of my strip is below the two lit indicator points, which is very annoying/difficult when using the strip to control pitch bends.

In my view the Looper device needs a serious Push makeover.

Currently it doesn't even have the ability to trigger the Rec/Play button without having to go to User Mode to map a Midi Note to it!

But Push could actually be the most awesome interface for looper ever.... just imagine if it had:
1. Dedicated coloured buttons for Rec, Play, Stop, Erase etc.
2. Buttons/encoders to control loop length, double or half time loops, feedback, pitch up/down, etc..
3. Visual feedback as to where in the loop you are.
4. A 'drag' button to map the currently playing loop to a new clip on a new track.

Love Push just want more features
1 load sample clip in session
2 able to browse VSTi presets
3 able to specify input for SC device from Push
4 MIDI editing directly from Push

If I understand you correctly, if you have 9 Suite (or just Max for Live) you can do this already. Just rack up some "Multimap" devices from the M4L Essentials pack. You can then map the "input" knob to the rack macros and use the "map" buttons in the Multimap devices to control anything you want, on any track. This in effect means on Push you select just one track and can page around and use the knobs to control anything you want across the entire app without having to switch tracks.

-16 levels, pitch, pan, filter, etc modes for drum racks.

-Ability to change the velocity of "Accent" button. (velocity plugin is not an ideal workaround, this breaks workflow and is not a very quick way to work)

-Ability to change the contrast of LCD

-Ability to easily change the function of touch strip. (hit select then the touch strip - then spin encoder at top to change midi cc# or a preset of parameters, hit one of the buttons in the master or solo/mute/stop row to confirm).

-Ability to assign touch strip to a macro/perimeter on per track basis.

If that's to much to ask, add the ability to change the global default function of drum racks and instruments. e.g. modulation of synth, global drum rack pitch or per pad pitch control.

As it stands now the touch strip has very little functionality.

-Ability to set macros when the "Track" button is pressed. In a live setting this would allow you to jump to different tracks in a set and get to parameters a lot quicker than having to navigate to the track then hitting Device, then hitting "Track" or "Volume" to navigate to another track.

Adding more to this list.

-Octave ranges displayed on Push's screen when in "Note" mode

-Better calibration of displaying clip colors from Live

Fixed Length Audio clips by pressing Fixed Length button and the clip slot you want to record into, rather than the unintuitive current way of shift select clip slot, then record button.

Better browser. Biggest frustration for me is not being able to browse vst presets and drum hits.

From PXT-Live manual:-

4.3 Touch Strip

The Touch Strip will control the last parameter that was selected by clicking on it with your mouse or the last parameter adjusted by an Encoder. It can be locked to/unlocked from the currently selected parameter by holding down the Shift and Delete buttons and touching the Touch Strip.

The parameter the Touch Strip is controlling can be reset to its default value by holding down the Shift button and touching the Touch Strip. If the parameter is an on/off switch or multi-selection (such as a filter type chooser), instead of resetting, this will toggle between the parameter’s possible settings. If automation has been recorded for the parameter the Touch Strip is controlling, this can be cleared by holding down the Delete button and touching the Touch Strip.

- drum rack - be able to choose chromatic note mode or the sequencer
edit: Loading a drum rack into a instrument rack displays the keys on push

- visual feedback on live's browser when browsing on push
- browse self made folders AND browse vst folder
- duplicate individual clips to any slot
 in the SHIFT+scale selection menu, be able to set the keys backwards. This would allow guitar players to maintain finger position and feel in chromatic view..
