Can't Adjust Velocity on Push Pads (User Mode Not Working)

Post by NYCmixx » Thu Sep 05, 2013 3:28 am

Hi there,

I am having a problem adjusting the velocity on the pads in Push. The instructions say to hold down the "user" button and then adjust the velocity at the top bar. The problem is that when I hold down the user button, nothing happens. If I just press it once, the whole board goes dark (although notes still play). But when I hold it down, nothing changes.

Has anyone run into this problem? Thanks so much for your help!

While you are holding the user button, the display at the top should change, with the far left knob under the display becoming the sensitivity knob.

At least two others reported that issue before:

Unfortunately they didn't post a solution.

Based on you description I'd say a short press takes you to User mode, therefor the button doesn't seem to be faulty.

1st I'd try it again and make sure that I press long enough (the switch should happen after something like a second).

2nd, what Live version are you on (even though I never had that problem from 9.0.1 on)?

3rd, have you installed other Midi Remote Scripts which might interfere with the Push default mode?
Live 9.5 (64bit), Max 7.0.6, Windows 10, Push 2, Korg electribe2, Bass Station II, Launch Control XL, Faderfox DJ3
