I have to admit this would look awesome! But it's not necessary if you got M4L:

Load the device, disable "Master Vol", click save behind "Note Mode" and "Session Mode", done.

Very easy with M4L, not sure how it is done best without it (I guess it's possible with MIDI mapping).

These mini fluted knobs are really awesome. They have a screw too so they should fit just about anything. I purchased some for other pieces of equipment, I can tell you that you will definitely lose the touch sensitivity though.
You have to order them in lots of 25 I think though.

Sir, thank you so much for explaining how to do this! And also for sharing the device. This will work great for live performance, pending I can get my set whittled down enough where the addition of another M4L device (or any plugin for that matter) does not introduce pops and clicks, etc.
You deserve a cookie or a snack of your choice. Hell, take one for each hand!

Yeah, cookies!!

Thanks and you're welcome!
Even though the impact of the device on your cpu load should be very small, if you're facing problems you could rip apart the patch to get the smallest possible version which fits your needs. Drop me a pm if you decide to do that and you need guidance.
