Hopefully a new and simple approach to drum layering

Hey Ya'lls

I wrote a brief "how to" on how I layer samples in Ableton. Hopefully this is a new technique for some people - for me it's been hugely important in my productions.

The key to this whole thing is creating a monophonic sampler or drum racks patch, so that the 2 - 3 drum sounds actually are NOT layered, and never overlap :)

Lemme know what you think!

Real neat trick. I never considered doing it that way and "choking" samples with a slight offset. You have given me some things to think about when approaching stereoizing my drums. Cool. :D
