Novation Launchkey: Reassigning Pads?

So I just bought a Novation Launchkey. I plan to use it in MIDI mode, not "InControl" mode which has limited flexibility. Everything is mapped the way I want it, except for the pads. In my live set, I have a track full of samplers which I play with a MIDI keyboard throughout the performance. The Launchkey has 16 pads which I would like to assign to various transitional loops and SFX.

The pads on the Launchkey, while in MIDI mode, send note on/off messages. They range from around C1~D#2. I don't want that, because if I were to assign the pads to trigger clips, then these clips would get triggered every time I hit that particular key on the keyboard. Anybody got an idea of how to address this issue?

Got this figured out. The default MIDI channel for the keys is 1, but the default MIDI channel for the pads is 10. So, selecting "MIDI from" Channel 1 on my sampler track fixed this.
