v5: looping bug

Post by Machinate » Wed Aug 03, 2005 8:46 pm

Steps to reproduce:

* Drag in any loop.
* Setthe loop pos to 1.1.4
* length 0.0.3
* follow action every bar to "play again"
* press play.
* -cool rhythm, huh?
* anyway, go to the clip env.->sample offset envelope.
* now unlink the sample offset envelope.

On my system it no longer plays the lead-in when pressing play, it goes right to the loop. I've had various similar problems with looping ever since beta, but this is the first time I've actually been able to reproduce the steps needed.

Best,
Andreas

also, in a loop-bug vein, moving the loop while using a follow action can cause the speed of the loop to drop slightly (fall out of sync) and then drop out until the next retrigger of the follow action.

Additionally, when turning on the follow action, the follow action isn't active when you hit space, it has to be triggered via mouse, midi or key assignments.

Can anyone confirm any of this behaviour?

Ah yeah. I tested this yesterday. :idea: (probably forgot to mention it)

Confirmed on osx.
