It's a weird paradoxical industry though - it has no value but it has loads of value. People love music and want to be associated with it, but they feel people who might have spent an entire lifetime learning and practicing and refining their skills should just do it for free for a bit of fun.

Yeah there's a couple of elements there a psychologist could really sink their teeth into.
