Unfortunatelly we can not avoid "importing" all that american shit. U.S. in 1945 ordered to italian government to "americanize" Italy through U.S. movies, songs, propaganda, etc. Italy is under U.S. control since 1945, it is not an independent country, but a sort of U.S. colony. That is the reason of all that american crap in Italy, not because distributors import it (or better: distributors ARE american here, or controlled by U.S.). The italian government has to obey U.S. and CIA, not only regarding war and crimes, but propaganda, too. There are laws imposed by U.S., for instance: 6 movies out of 10 must be american. 8 TV shows out of 10 american. Laws, understand? News must always talk about U.S. etc. Because of propaganda machinery. Italy is just a U.S. colony, useful for U.S. military bases (they are 113). In order to keep the population calm, U.S. ordered a sort of "brainwashing propaganda" since 1945. The same happens in Germany. The large majority of italians, however, are not brainwashed as the americans are, and keep on hating U.S. for their stupidity and for the crimes commited in Italy, expecially in the 70s, 80s and 90s. It is like in Chile, Mexico, Japan, Germany, Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Argentina, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Granada, India, Middle East, Africa, Russia, South Korea, Cambodia, Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Vietnam etc. (I guess at least 90% of population of all countries in the world hate U.S. not only the countries in which they commited crimes. For instance, in Sweden, Norway, Danmark and such antiamericanism is very strong). U.S. are considered Nazi and criminals here, otherwise just stupid and rude (Well, not only here haha ). Media and newspapers are owned by americans, and all that shit is just war propaganda, it has nothing to do with a free country importing it. It is just a sort of "duty" the italian government has to pay to U.S. after WW2. The only "fan" of U.S. in Italy is Berlusconi (mafia), together with the neofascist party. It happens the same elsewhere, in all countries: evil and/or corrupted dictators, fascists and right parties are "pro-US", everywhere (guess why )

Of course it is not your fault, 80-90% of americans are brainwashed by war propaganda, and at least 90% of them simply ignore what U.S. really are and what the rest of the world think about U.S. It is like the germans in the 30s, something like that. With the difference U.S. claim to be a "democracy" (actually it is a military dictatorship giving citizens fake freedom: some sex, drugs, shitty movies, "freedom of expression", food, shops, etc. All this is admitted because harmless. The rest is forbidden and banned: see Assange, etc.). The proof: only dictatorships have death penalty.

You just have to be patient. Also with the right administration I think america can recede from most of it's worldly stations in no time.
