I use the timer on my iPhone a lot for things like my lunch break and doing laundry. I like how on iOS 7 if the timer is running it shows the countdown on the lock screen. Before you had to go to the app.

It would be great if NI would release a full sized S4 or S2 hardware type controller that would hold an iPad in the middle of it. No computer required. 8O

If I'm already in the music app why should I have to exit it to search for an artist or album?

WAIT...any page in the music app has a search. You kinda have to drag down a little for it to be visible.
it's at the top.

Are you on iOS 7? I checked both the artist and songs pages and there’s no search on either of them.

ON iOS 7.
Grab anywhere on the page, and drag finger down a little. the Search bar is on top.

Fuck. Found it. You have to drag down from the section title just below the transport section.

Ugh. Alright. If you have a long list of songs or artists or whatever on the screen you have to drag all the way down until it hits the top of the list and the search is there. Lame.

Wait, can't you DOUBLE TAP the very very top black bar of the screen to do a quick scroll to the top, instead of manually dragging to the top yourself?

All the artists who play the yearly iTunes music festival don’t get paid anything to do it. 8O Wow. I also noticed a lot of artists thanked iTunes during their performance. I guess the exposure is worth it. I know I enjoy it and have found out about some new artists I like as a result.
