Seems you totally IGNORE the U.S. state department in 1945 prepared tons of already "italian dubbed" american (shitty hollywood propaganda) movies ordering italian politicians to spread all that shit everywhere together with propaganda on paper (newspapers, magazines, kids books, school books, teenager staff etc.=. This because in 1945 Italy became a U.S. colony. Since at that time Italy had no television, the americans only "exported" (read: imposed) music, comics and movies (radio, cinema, paper). In 1954 they ordered the "government" (a puppet government controlled by CIA) to "bomb" italian population via TV (second phase). Of course they ORDERED to import american shit, too (so called "economic trades"), together with U.S. army (113 military bases, the police and the government controlled by CIA and U.S. state department). They ordered Italy to make war, too (in spite of our antifascist and antiwar constitution) and join "NATO". The U.S. did not "liberate" Italy, they just occupied it, like every other "liberated" country in which you can read "yankee go home" anywhere

The problem, for americans, is that most of italians were communists and socialists (Italian communist party was the biggest one in the western world). Besides, the vast majority of catholics were antiamericans because of U.S. crimes against humanity, evilness and idiocy. So, a large area of italian people was not so dumb, and the americans could not brainwash the citizens. Consequently they started putting bombs in trains, stations, squares, airplains, shops etc. in order to ally with italian neofascist and build a sort of neofascist military dictatorship (as they did in Greece, Spain, Portugal, South America, etc. etc.).

The only things "U.S." did here in italy were: terrorism, bomb attacks (killing civilians), arrogance, attempt to "americanize" italians through propaganda and fear, supporting neofascist organisations ("anticommunist" strategy), imposing capitalistic economy and trades. For the rest, some shitty racist movies. Nothing else.

It is not by chance that the only "U.S. fans" remained here in Italy nowadays are Berlusconi, the mafia and the neofascists...

SO: the problem is not italian fascism or german nazism in the 30s: they were dictatorships, people had no power at all. In this case, in my opinion american people have no fault, because at least 80-90% of them are brainwashed by war propaganda (like germans and italians in the 30s).
