i had to pay $3000 just to be told i had a broken heal and be given crutches and one Vicodin. i was very poor at the time. i slept on the floor of my tiny apartment. don't act like you know me or what i've been through.

And that is why in my opinion U.S. are not a real democracy. In a real democracy hospitals and health care are totally free, no matter of skin color, money, etc. It has nothing to do with charity or compassion. Schools and university are free, they don't cost 20.000 dollars a year In real democracies people don't burn on an electric chair, no poison in veins. It is considered a crime against humanity. Kids don't get trained to play guns by parents. Movies and comic books don't praise war against supposed enemies, pseudonazi propaganda, military solutions etc. Kids don't have to pray the flag (pledge of allegiance), it is considered violent and fascist. There are neither segregationism, nor racism. Democracies don't spend 60% of taxes for war. Above all, democracies don't invade other nations and kill children (1.000.000 in Iraq). Democracies don't support military and fascist dictatorships.

That is why i don't think U.S. is a real democracy. In my opinion it is a miltary dictatorship. Like the romans did 2000 years ago, they let people have some fun with sex, drugs, buying object and let them "tell whatever they like" (so called fake "freedom of speech": infact, as soon as someone tells the truth, he gets killed or FBI wanted: see Assange & C.).

Last time Stringtapper entered a thread was because I posted a picture of a poor 7-8 y.o. afghan kid murdered by his "heroes" (american army) and "liberators" (as docprosper call war criminals). it's interesting to me that you say the rest of the world hates America so much yet people from all around the world are moving here in droves.

interestingly enough... one of the the IT guys where I work is from Afghanistan. he moved to the US about 4 years ago. he is heartbroken that his parents cannot move over here. i find it ironic that this person who you would claim hates the US moved here, has started a family (recently had a son) and is actively trying to get his mother and father entry into the states.

the guy who owns a small convenience store by my house is from Pakistan. he is writing a book about a Pakistani entrepreneur who helps the poor. he is trying to get the man to come to San Francisco to give him an award and present the book he has written about him. i find it fascinating that if America is as horrible as you say that he would want this man to come here and that the store owner himself stays here.

the two examples i gave you above are from interesting countries to say the least... both of them have various reasons they could hate the US, but instead they embrace it and choose to increase the tax revenue collected by the government. i wonder why that is??

(4) As already said, my original relatives (grand grand father) lived in Boston and I have relatives (uncles and cousins) in San Francisco and Detroit. All immigrants, since 1908. I doubt there is some italian family without relatives in some part of the world (being italians outside italy more than the ones living in italy: 58.000.000 in italy; 60.000.000 immigrants). Shall I tell you how my relatives were "well treated" by U.S. citizens?...
