Creating Instrument "Stacks"?

Post by puzzlefactory » Sun Oct 06, 2013 6:42 am

Just bought Push yesterday and after playing around (and having a quick look in the manual) i can't seem to figure out how to create instrument "stacks" inside an instrument rack. I would like to be able to load up an empty instrument rack and then load different devices into the rack to create layers. I would similarly be like to create an empty effect rack and create parallel effect chains?

Is this possible from the Push controller? If not, is it something people have requested and is it something that is planned to be included in the future?

Configure an empty rack with multiple chains set up. Save that in a convenient 'Places' location. When you want to layer, just load the rack, drill down to a chain and load your instrument. You should be able to do this with instrument and effects racks.

I set one up with a macro that crossfades between layers, quite fun. And I set up my default midi track to load with the rack template which makes it even easier.
