I'm thinking of going back to learning production and ableton again and have saved enough so that I could do pointblankonline's certificate. however the price is very steep and I can 't really see the tutors being much of a help from distance.
I am therefore thinking of learning from groove 3 or sonic academy and then getting some intensive one to one help when I am back in he uk in December? has anybody ever found one to one tuition to be useful and worth the price when done face to face and which of the cheaper online schools are better?
has anyone had good experiences with the full point blank online ableton course?
PB online, Sonic Academy, Groove 3 or one to one?

pointblank is cool but for me was too expensive. i did the quantizecourses (http://quantizecourses.com/). go check the free tutorials and more important go check the facebook page for the testimonials. for me best investment by far i've done in music production.

Just above this thread there's mention of point blank, doesn't look good. I done sonic academy for a year as had the spare cash and it was a great help. Though the last 6 months I didn't other with it much but it was a great kick up the bum I needed, I'd try the three month subscription and see how you feel after it, or try the other ones, should go read that thread, honest opinion about point blank.
