X-station Asio problem with L5.01

Live 5.01 does not allow me to change the asio audio samplerate from 44.1 to 48.
I can choose it but as soon as i close the asio configuration window the samplerate is 44.1 !!

This is a bummer since sometimes arrangements with 24/48 quality lose all loop start points, or at least the samples dont play according to those.

Hi VC,

is the X-station ASIO panel also available via outside Live?
If yes, have you then already tried to change the sample rate in this panel before you start Live?

Panel is available in other audio apps, and there you can change samplerate but its set back to 44.1 when Live is started.

do you own Live 4? If yes, how does it behave there?

i have a serial for live4 but i sadly did uninstal the program when i got the serial for 5.

It did work with live4

oh and is there a link somewhere where i could dload live4 demo so i could use that one too?

Hi VC,

you can go to the download section of our website www.ableton.com/downloads and enter your Live 4 serial under "Free Updates".
Then you can download the Live 4 version.

So far I have no idea why it does not work in Live 5 but in Live 4. So it would nice if you can try it out again with Live 4.

huh yeah but i installed 4.1 and when i try to start the application it says resources not found, and nothing happens.

I deleted the resources because L5 wouldnt start earlier......
