But I doubt I will feel any different sober.

Dudes sending pics of themselves to each other with all the gear they have wasted their cash on? Not really that cool. Sort of surreal.

I'll check again in the morning to see if I suddenly think it is cool.
It is cool - guys, drunk listening to techno beats making techno beats being drunk, touching - look, can you see? CAN YOU SEE!

sorry this is stupid of me to say...but at first glance i thought that that picture was taken through a toilet bowl with the curves around the outer paremeter...but then i seen that it was a mirror
...i wish it was... a toilet bowl view would make a great picture, tho im not sure how id be able to physically do it. Or actually want to. No, its actually just my bathroom mirror. Which is NOT a part of my studio gear, but if anyone can turn it into a Kaoss Pad-style MIDI controller then please get in touch. :D

I like the vinyl in the picnic basket. I think I'll show up to my next gig that way! Oh wait, shit, I don't spin vinyl anymore. Damn! ;)

hEy suburbanbather I jUSt gOt tHe Alesis Photon last week the a,x,y,z controller its decent you can assign it to whatever midi you choose if able. I use it for my Native Instruments Xpress Keys FM 7, Pro 53, and B4. Also I use it for Reason 2.5 adapted (Subtractor). Its pretty responsive it can go crazy and move quick.

Hey thats a good idea to use the micro synth through some drums. I use it on my Juno and I''ve ran my guitar through it and then into NI Guitar Combos(Demo) and it sounds really aNaLOGY. I'm going to do the drum effect and let you know I'll cut a track and post it if its really kick aSS.

I got the Snowshoe from Zaxby's non fast food store as a antique to hang on the wall. Down here in Georgia Its hotter than two rats F$c*%ing in a wool sock. I won't never need that here

I used QuickTime to watch it.
You'll se the Roland W-30 workstation as I walk by.

mystery synth

Post by annadyne » Fri Aug 05, 2005 1:56 pm

heyas z....

mystery synth is an EML Electrocomp 101 modular synth... nickname is 'Grumpy' since it has a fat but cranky sound... however, it's the most reliable analog synth i have had... has normalled circuit paths that are broken when a patch cord is inserted...

the korg mono/poly (standing up on end) is temporarily outta commission...also have a jx-8p that sounds great when it's working. i used to also have an ob-xa but got tired of having to crack it open everytime it was on and re-tune half the cards before playing it. a friend's arp 2600 that i lusted after for months finally blew its power supply. and blew it again after he fixed it.

the sh101 is great but limited in sounds, kinda. however i've got a novamod kit for the 101 that will add fm, extra envelope, audio input, etc... just hafta borrow an electric drill and warm up the weller iron...
