Importing audio files Workflow

Post by tbuechse » Wed Oct 16, 2013 11:55 am

Dear Producers,

coming from Logic....
some basic questions for my working routines

after having renamed the audio files in the Audio Pane, if I drag and drop into ARRANGE, is it possible to automatically generate the Track Headres Name referncing to the AUdio File?

Can I adjust the sensitivity for transient markers

AND

When I hit quantize EVERY transient marker is tranformed to a warp marker, How can I choose to only use my manual warp markers to be drawn on the grid lines?

To Quantize MIDI, do the Events jump back to their original position after turning quantize off, when I want to check the best kind of quantize setting? (Sure, you can Undo it, but only one time at the given moment)

Is there a way to lock the EDIT Window and the ARRANGE window, so that you can edit the MIDI Events at the same spot that is actually played.

Is it planned to have a score editor in the future?

Thank for your kind getting on the bus... :D
Best
Tim

Hi Fank N Furter,

yep, its about the browser. Some programs add the names if you import audio, which is more a mixing feature if you have one clip per track with one function, I see...

My basic questions are about adopting routines I learned over time with other software. I came to LIVE intending to check out the alternative workflow for my improvisational work besides producing in a more intuitive manner, (I hope) So...

Thx for your quick answer!!!

Cheers
Tim
