how to transpose individual hits in drum rack?
how to transpose individual hits in drum rack?
What effect/tool do I use to transpose an 808 style kick drum sample with each different hit, so the note can follow the chords in my song? If I adjust the sample, that changes all triggers within the track. I want to change each one individually. pls help!

If it needs to follow a rhythm (there may be other ways) but a quick simple way for just that hit would be take it out of the drum rack and place it in a sampler on a separate track of its own where you can then hit it at any pitch. Group it up with your drum rack to keep it all together.

How do I copy that chain to a new sampler track?fourstar wrote:What effect/tool do I use to transpose an 808 style kick drum sample with each different hit, so the note can follow the chords in my song? Do I make a duplicate chain for each pitch that I want the kick to play. i.e. I need four different notes - do I duplicate it 4 times? Is there video tutorial out there for doing this? Not too familiar with automation yetchapelier fou wrote:duplicate the chain, change the pitch, set the zones, automate the chain selector ?
