Click to drummer... only one out on interface

Post by DLuv » Mon Oct 21, 2013 1:53 pm

I have a gear/ableton related question.

We are using a MOTU 8pre feeding into an RME babyface. I want to send the click to the drummer only. I know how to set that up with the I/O but I am wondering what is the right cable to use for spliting the channels so that only the drummer gets the click and the rest goes into the mix. I'm looking at various y cables but not sure mono/stereo...etc.

thank you.

The babyface has four analog outputs. Use the Phone out for the clicktrack.
