Moving the red box in ableton push.

Post by esteban2010 » Mon Nov 04, 2013 2:04 pm

Hi,
Im a new Push user, and Im tryng to move the "red box" from 1/8 track to 9/16...without success.
Im tryng to do with shift/arrow in session view, but the arrow move the selected track, but the red box is permanently in 1/8 track.
The same with the scene navigation. one by one, with the shift/arrow.
Sorry for the silly question, but there arent any video tutorial showing that, or I cant find it.
thanks for your help.

You can only move the box with the arrow buttons if your Push is in Session mode (press Session button). The behavior of the arrow buttons in Note mode is different (see here for details: https://www.ableton.com/en/manual/using ... -note-mode).

Btw, there is a dedicated Push forum: viewforum.php?f=55

If you're in session mode, you can do this just by holding shift and selecting the next 8 slots by pressing the red pad on the grid. The selected 8 slots are amber, the next ones are red.
