First Mosca, now Love from DJ Mag for Pitch Black too

Post by Pitch Black » Sat Aug 06, 2005 8:59 am

Hi all, I hope you don't think I'm wanking, but our album Ape to Angel just got a Leading Player review and five stars in DJ Mag (22 July - 4th August issue)

I didn't know if I should post this, but its a big deal for 2 white boys from New Zealand and we're pretty stoked.

You can download two of the eight tracks off the album at www.pitchblack.co.nz

Big ups Mosca! must be something in the Ableton water eh? I knew using this software would come to some good...

[end self-aggrandisment]

cheers,
Paddy

If you don't mind me saying buddy ...

"Ape To Angel " - reminds alot vibe wise some of Babble's better moments on "The Stone".

Which was/is meant as a compliment.

Very cool,
Nice one pitchblack, well done. Enjoying this track very much. I hope this turns out to be one of those weekends where one really good thing happens, quickly followed by three more... I hope that happens to me too! :)

Thanks mate! I don't know much of the Babble stuff but International Observer (Tom Bailey's latest project) is awesome and sets the bar for me production-wise. They've just dropped a new album in NZ this week. I'm off to buy it tomorrow fo' sho. :D :D
