MIDI won't render with track??

Hello, I have a bit of a problem. I have done some extensive midi recording using VST devices and the such and when I chose render to disk, I get a track with silence except the audio parts. The MIDI won't render at all, when I playback everything within Live and it sounds fine, I can hear the VSTs' with no problem. Though again, they are absent in the wav file that was rendered...

Do I have to bounce the MIDI to audio before rendering somehow? If so, how would I go about doing that? Or is there a certain channel setup/routing that I need to do? I would think that Live would process the MIDI notes through the VST and render it as audio instead of silence.....

it should do you have everything routed to the master output?
