MIDIChainer - MIDI Sidechain Compressor

Hello everyone,

I want to share a free Max4Live patch I made months ago:

http://nezoomie.com/software/midi-chainer

It's a sidechain compressor which uses MIDI input as a trigger (using a satellite device).
The curve can be shaped, velocity can be used to scale amount of compression, and it can run on fixed intervals (auto mode) if needed.
It's synced to the project tempo, so the curve scales itself when changing speed.

Hope you guys will like it as much as I do

Cheers!

How about timing problems of the MIDI trigger since global s/r introduce unpredictable latency?

True, I wasn't sure it was going to work nicely, but I didn't get any noticeable side effect so far. I guess the only way to be safe would be to try it for yourself.
This won't affect the auto mode of course.

If you have any alternative to global s/r feel free to suggest it (or even contribute to it if you want)
