Hi all,
Just looking for confirmation that it is not possible to render or print the chords in the midi editor which are generated by the chord device.
If I remember well I think it used to be in an old version (and maybe still is) of Cubase that one could render this as lets say flatten chords.
Edit: seems like in Cubase its Merge midi in loop with an option include midi inserts.
The reason is mainly to adjust slightly chord progressions generated by the midi chord device. Additionally, is there a way in Logic X to flatten chords with the new chord devices there ? Live's manual and Logic's manual don't mention this.
I know I can record the midi output to a new channel but don't want to begin duplicating channels.

recording to a new channel is pretty much you're only workaround for this. there are some M4L devices that show us it's possible to input midi data into a clip, but I don't know of one that does this specifically. I would like one.
you can make one catch all midi channel to record to, then drag the clip over.
when i do this, i make a new channel, record my midi notes, drag the clips over, delete my midi FX and then delete the old channel.
